We are very
sad to announce that Carol lost her courageous battle Thursday February 25. She passed quietly
at home with her loving partner Gary at her side.
Right to the end she was
positive and gave strength to those around her. The sale will continue as
planned, with all proceeds going to help with expenses.
A Memorial
Service will be held on Saturday, March 6th 2010 at 1:00 at the Springfield
Funeral Home in Kelowna.
We have had a very generous donation of a
lovely Warmblood mare to be auctioned off to the highest bidder with all
proceeds to go to Carol to help out with her considerable medical expenses. This
is a No Reserve Sale, Jamie will go to the bidder with the highest offer! She is located in Vernon. Owner is willing to answer questions to

Congratulations, Dana! Jamie will Soon Be residing in Rimbey, Alberta!
Getushel is a
2000 16' bright chestnut anglo-trakehner mare by the
outstanding Trakehner stallion Herder (Amiego).
She is
built uphill with a natural self carriage, her movement is
lofty and rhythmic. On her first dressage test the judge
quoted her an "8" on her gaits, as well as her walk and her
canter. She was also quoted as being a "Gorgeous Horse".
Jamie has been trail ridden, has had lots of dressage
training as well as started over fences.
She is
lovely to work with, good on the roads and of course
possesses the "Herder" temperament. She has schooled
crosscountry, with her movement & jumping ability she would
make a fabulous event horse! She has been in professional
training and is
suitable for
just about any level rider in a good program.
Dr.
Britt Mills has donated her services to do a Health Exam on
Tuesday February 23. Jamie has always been sound and there
should be no vetting issues. Serious buyers are more than
welcome to have their own vetting done.
HEALTH
EXAM showed everything to be in normal range. Dr. Mills said
she would be happy to speak to any serious bidders.
So Jamie
is sound, healthy and ready to go!

In
Loving Memory
(Thank you Anita!)
COME WITH ME
The Lord saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms aroud you
And whispered, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away,
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
A beautiful smile at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.
It's lonesome here without you
We miss you so each day,
Our lives aren't the same
Since you went away.
When days are sad and lonely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper,
"Cheer up and carry on."
Each time we see your picture,
You seem to smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping,
We'll meet again someday."
